N1104X is one of thousands of 172's, but this 2006 is mine (and my first plane, too.) Glass cockpit, 500 hours, tan interior. Parked by my hanger at KLRO.

As many of us did James, a 172 was my primary training and a wonderful, stable platform all around. With the glass, it's probably a great IFR platform as well.

As the owner of a Commander 112 with <2000 total manufactured (including all models), trust me, parts availability and maintenance cost would be a lot more pleasant if there were "thousands of 112s". I.e. Being as "common" as a 172 is definitely a plus!

Enjoy!!!

James - There's a decent photo of your "pretty bird" tied down at KDAN at www.airport-data.com/.../058782.html
